Qualifications
- Educational Background: Associate degree required, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
- Experience: Working knowledge of Accounting through the Associates degree required; Experience in teaching/tutoring at high school or college level strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in subject matter of specialty area.
- Provide direct assistance to students individually or in small groups.
- Support students to develop and meet their academic goals.
- Tutor according to the techniques presented in student classes.
- Work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with immediate supervisor regarding best practices in tutoring.
- Participate in tutor training and development sessions as required.
- Maintain and record student and usage records as needed.
- Update tutoring materials including workshop development as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- May require flexible hours some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to use computer for extended periods of time.
- Associates Degree: $21.00/hour
- Bachelors Degree: $23.00/hour
- Masters or Ph.D: $25.00/hour
