Duties Include
- Maintain records and files related to the development and approval of study abroad programs, university partnership programs, and other global partnerships and international programs;
- Review and process requests for payments and reimbursements, work with OGA office staff to provide appropriate documentation;
- Research and assemble briefing materials for Vice Provost, Executive Vice Chancellor, Sr Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, and SUNY System Executive leadership
- Management of complex scheduling initiatives for internal and stakeholder engagement, including long-term planning, with the ability to use significant discretion in execution.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of grant proposals
- Assist with SUNY-wide study abroad program approval process and representation at various college fairs;
- Assist in planning domestic and international travel and activities for OGA staff;
- Assist in planning visits of overseas partner university representatives to SUNY campuses or from SUNY campuses; arrange transportation, accommodations, meetings, and necessities for international or domestic visitors to OGA;
- Coordinate projects including special events and conferences; manage arrangements for special events;
- Assist in management of OGA web site. Update and maintain time-sensitive web content and materials. Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference;
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of 3 years in an administrative setting for an executive level officer
- Ability to manage multiple complex calendars and scheduling
- An ability to use independent judgement and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Detailed oriented and an ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel outside the US. Periodic domestic and international travel may be required.
- Experience working with international programs, students, or faculty; bi-lingual ability
- Traveled outside the continental US.
- Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications. The range for this position is $52,000-$60,000 annually.
- State Title: Staff Assistant (SL-2) and is part of the United University Professions Union.
