Shift Leader

*MUST BE 21 OR OLDER, MUST BE OK WITH ROTATING SCHEDULES EVERY TWO WEEKS*, WEEKENDS/OPENING/CLOSING INCLUDED AND DETERMINED BY BUSINESS NEED/MANAGEMENT TEAM. MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE/OPEN SCHEDULE. MUST BE WILLING TO CROSS TRAIN IN ALL POSITIONS AND COVER AS NEEDED.*

The Full-Time Shift Leader is responsible for leading a team of budtenders, being the main point of contact to open and close the dispensary, manage money and POS Treez system, train budtenders, work closely with managers and inventory department. Industry experience preferred. You are a strong leader, have money management skills, attention to detail and enjoy training other employees. You will be providing our customers and patients with an exceptional service through meaningful connections and educated experience. Budtenders are the customer facing ambassadors of our brand and contribute to the overall success of the dispensary. This role will collaborate with leaders and peers to achieve sales goals and expectations of store objectives while adhering to all policies and operational guidelines. Professionalism, attention to detail and transactions ensuring accuracy, money management is very important in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service to our patients
• Understand the medicinal benefits of products and utilize a consultative approach to recommend to patients based on needs.
• Verify patient allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchases using the state verification system.
• Properly utilize the inventory tracking software to record relevant purchase information for medical and adult use transactions.
• Contribute to sales and service team to achieve store objectives and sales goals, including working together to provide excellent patient care.
• Support a healthy environment and ensuring our dispensary is clean and free from debris (including bathrooms, working stations and inventory space.)
• Ensure a safe environment for our staff and patients, by following all safety and security protocols as well as adhering to all policies and state regulations.
• Participate and successfully complete company compliance training
• Properly audit inventory before and after store hours
• Other duties as assigned by leadership team.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on the different strains, products, and consumption methods available
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and product displays
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and regulations
- Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale of products

Skills:
- Strong sales skills with experience in electronics or jewelry sales preferred
- Proficient in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ability to upsell and recommend additional products to customers
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of strains, products, and consumption methods is desirable but not required
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive customer information
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
