Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by providing any necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Set up and break down dining areas for events or special occasions.
- Ensure all utensils, glassware, and dishware are properly cleaned and stored.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bussing or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
- A background in catering, hotel services, or kitchen environments is advantageous.
