Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fine Dining Server to join our team. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are executed flawlessly.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of dishes, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Heartland POS.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food safety practices are followed.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or private parties.
- Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and culinary trends to enhance guest engagement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with Heartland systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
