We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and commitment to guest relations will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences when applicable.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and guest services.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others enhance their dining experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
