As a Restaurant Host on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Check the reservation book for reservations for the next meal period.
- Notify the manager of any parties of more than six.
- Distribute reservations among all servers equally, informing them of all information necessary.
- Always answer the phone politely using a friendly tone and being informative.
- Use “Reservation Protocol” when taking reservations and enter information directly into the reservation system.
- Welcome all restaurant guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart.
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Host.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
