Summary
As a Paraprofessional, you will support teachers in creating a positive and effective learning environment for students, particularly those with special needs. Your core skills in classroom management, communication, and behavior management will be essential in assisting with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Additionally, your experience with children and relevant skills in lesson planning and early childhood education will enhance the educational experience for all students. Responsibilities:
- Assist students on a 1:1 or classroom aide basis within a classroom setting
- Work alongside lead teacher
- Implement individuals’ IEP
- Work with student’s grade K – 12th
- Assist with various behavioral levels mild to severe
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
- Autism training
- 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or special needs population
- 1 year behaviors experience (required)
Preemployment Testing:

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
