Summary
As a Paraprofessional, you will support teachers in managing classroom activities and providing individualized assistance to students, particularly those with special needs. Your core skills in classroom management, communication, and behavior management will be essential in fostering a positive learning environment. With experience working with children and knowledge of IEPs, you will help implement tailored educational strategies. Additionally, your premium skills in working with students with disabilities and relevant experience in early childhood education will enhance the educational experience for all students. Responsibilities:
- Assist students on a 1:1 or classroom aide basis within a classroom setting
- Work alongside lead teacher
- Implement individuals’ IEP
- Work with student’s grade K – 12th
- Assist with various behavioral levels mild to severe
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
- Autism training
- 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or special needs population
- 1 year behaviors experience (required)
- Covid vaccination (preferred, not required)
Preemployment Testing:
- Criminal background check & LiveScan
- TB test

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
