What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Educating Classroom Assistant position at The Stepping Stones Group?
Vista Unified School District
Schedule: M-F 30 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Assist students on a 1:1 or classroom aide basis within a school setting
- Work alongside lead teacher and fellow aides
- Implement individuals’ IEP and work on individual goals
- Work with student’s grade K – 12th and ages 5-22
- Assist with various behavioral levels including mild/mod/severe
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
- Autism training
- 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or special needs population
- 1 year behaviors experience (required)
Preemployment Testing:

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
