Summary
As a Paraprofessional, you will support teachers and assist students in achieving their educational goals, particularly those with special needs. Your core skills in classroom management and experience with children will be essential as you help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and manage behavior effectively. With premium skills in working with students with disabilities and communication, you will foster an inclusive learning environment. Your relevant experience in lesson planning and early childhood education will further enhance the educational experience for all students, making you a vital part of our educational team
Responsibilities:
- Assist students on a 1:1 or classroom aide basis within a school setting
- Work alongside lead teacher and fellow aides
- Implement individuals’ IEP and work on individual goals
- Work with student’s grade K – 12th and ages 5-22
- Assist with various behavioral levels including mild/mod/severe
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
- Autism training
- 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or special needs population
- 1 year behaviors experience (required)
