Healthy snacks. Process optimization and the ability to enhance. If that’s the kind of language that gets you excited, then keep reading.
We need a Process Engineer who can take the science of food production and make it work in the real world. That means getting the balance right between product formulations, equipment capabilities, and process efficiency – all while making sure quality and consistency stay top-notch. This is about more than just tinkering with the process; it’s about making a real impact on production across multiple facilities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Standardizing and optimizing healthy snack production across multiple sites.
- Using data to improve food safety, quality, and efficiency while reducing waste.
- Partnering with R&D to ensure formulations work within operational limits.
- Running plant experiments, analyzing data, and translating insights into action.
- Working with different teams – from Engineering to Quality Assurance – to cut waste, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth production.
- Creating playbooks, white papers, and training materials to upskill the workforce.
- Traveling (across the 2 site location) to keep everything running smoothly across different sites.
What You Need:
- A degree in Chemical, Biological, Mechanical, or Food Engineering (MS preferred).
- Hands-on knowledge of process engineering large-scale manufacturing equipment and processes. Ideally from a food or pharma background.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Great communication skills – you’ll need to explain complex ideas to people who aren’t engineers.
- The ability to taste and smell food products (yes, really).
Nice to haves:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach (Minitab, Tableau, and similar tools).
- Heat Transfer experience & knowledge
This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be in the plants, on the floor, making things happen. If you want to be part of a team that takes food production seriously – and actually makes a difference – then hit that apply button.
