Senior Manager Sales Training
This role plays a pivotal part in aligning Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to drive commercial success through sales enablement, strategic planning, and streamlined product launches. The Sales Operations Leader will lead initiatives to enhance sales team effectiveness through robust training programs, tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner across commercial functions to drive initiatives that support sales enablement and product launch success.
- Lead the development and execution of scalable sales training programs based on business needs, role requirements, and skill gap analysis.
- Design and implement a comprehensive Sales Learning & Development program, including onboarding, workshops, coaching, field activities, and eLearning.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce and related sales tools (e.g., Domo), ensuring teams have real-time access to sales metrics, pipeline visibility, and performance data.
- Standardize and optimize reporting processes to support executive visibility and business unit comparison.
- Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to ensure customer-facing teams are equipped with effective sales tools, presentations, and demo resources.
- Continuously assess the impact of enablement programs using data, feedback, and ROI analysis to drive improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; multilingual capabilities a plus.
- 5 years in sales or sales leadership within the ingredients or flavor industry.
- 1 years in sales enablement, training development, or performance improvement roles.
- Experience in managing large-scale enablement programs and coordinating with external vendors.
- Strong project management background with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and sales analytics/reporting platforms.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
