Gymnastics Instructor
$10.17/hour
Our gymnastics program includes classes ranging from Parent/Tot through High School and Competitive Team.
Gymnastics Instructors are responsible for conducting gymnastics classes for youth in accordance with the
National YMCA Progressive Gymnastics Program using the philosophy of positive feedback and mental attitude. We
have multiple positions available at a variety of class levels.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of gymnastics skills and rules and
safety awareness are required.
Excellent organizational and communication
skills to effectively interact with gymnasts,
parents, and staff members.
Personal experience as a gymnast, background in
Y sports philosophy, and experience teaching at
individual or group levels are beneficial.
Strong leadership abilities and the capability to
motivate and inspire gymnasts.
Certifications:
CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
