- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.  
- Develop detailed, accurate estimates for project bids or proposals.  
- Research and source pricing for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.  
- Apply industry standards, benchmarks, and historical data for cost accuracy.

3. Bid Preparation
- Compile estimates into formal bid proposals.  
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including contingencies and assumptions.  
- Submit bids within specified deadlines.  
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to adjust or refine bids as needed.

4. Risk Assessment
- Identify potential risks or challenges related to costs and timelines.  
- Provide recommendations to mitigate risks in project planning.

5. Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers  
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to clarify project details and obtain quotes.  
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions.

6. Market Research
- Monitor market trends to stay updated on material and labor costs.  
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
