What are the responsibilities and job description for the order packer, stone trimmer, saw operator position at The Stone Mill Inc?
We are the largest producer of natural veneer stone in the state of Michigan. The winning applicants will be involved in handling stones. Preparing the stone for the saw, saw operator, and order packers are needed. No experience is necessary, we will train. Attention to detail and pride in a job well done is all that is needed.
Responsibilities
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and organized.
- Trim stones to specified dimensions using saws and other tools, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate saw machinery safely, following all operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to packing and trimming tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
