Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for all areas of property maintenance, including work order and inspection repairs, unit make ready, and maintaining curb appeal.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain Storage Mall property(s) for cleanliness and general housekeeping
· Complete routine service as assigned by the PM in a timely manner
· Prepare vacant units for new residents ensuring that the unit meets the company standards
· Work with Property Manager to track inventory and maintain status of available units
· Regularly inspect all areas of property, including grounds, buildings, vacant apartments, and common areas for preventive maintenance measures
· Maintain property curb appeal, including trash, snow removal, some landscaping as needed
· Respond to maintenance emergencies after hours as needed
· Keep maintenance shop and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion in accordance with company standards
· Other skills required: confidentiality, reliability, punctuality, customer service, decision-making, patience, respect, teamwork, and attention to detail
· Other responsibilities as assigned/needed
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Work Experience: At least 1 year of prior property maintenance experience (beneficial)
Requirements: reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license with insurance
Relationships:
Reports to: Property Manager, District Manager
This is a 1099 position.
Working Conditions:
Walking, standing, sitting, crouching, crawling and climbing are necessary throughout the day. Maintenance Technicians may be exposed to various weather conditions. It may be necessary to lift weights up to 100 pounds. It is essential to be safety-conscious at all times.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Ability to work well with people
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Ability to move throughout the property to which assigned and the ability to climb stairs
· Ability to life moderate to heavy objects (up to 100lbs)
· Must have a valid Driver’s License and willing to travel within the area

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
