Customer Service Representative
The Storage Manager is now hiring a Customer Service Representative. In this role you will be answering inbound phone calls and politely answering customers’ inquiries. You will be monitoring and responding to emails, entering data into software programs and processing financial transactions. The candidate for this role should be friendly, reliable and have excellent time management. They should be able to articulate well. The Ideal candidate will be a strong team player, be good with technology, and can work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. They will ultimately have great customer service skills and be willing to help the Tenant Contact Center Manager successfully provide the best service to our tenants.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Politely answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
· Manage outbound customer calls, which often includes gathering credit card information, late payment calls, and competitor research
· Interact with all customers in a friendly and courteous manner
· Assist customer with move ins and move outs
· Identify customers’ needs and clarify information as needed
· Handle all issues in accordance with best practices
· Process financial transactions, including tenant payments, insurance and refunds
· Document conversations in our call center database
· Perform software data entry
· Recognize opportunities to upsell our products and services
· Have knowledge of our tenant insurance program and offer to all customers renting a unit
· Monitor and respond to emails
· Build strong relationships with customers
· Meet quantitative targets
· Attend training and educational seminars when assigned
· Periodically contribute to marketing research and development
· Perform general office duties including scanning, filing, copying, etc.
· All other duties as assigned
Requirements
· A minimum of 1 year office experience
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
· Task-driven
· Highly organized and self-motivated
· Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail-oriented
· Effective in planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a timely manner
