Line Cook

The Stovall House is a private members only club located in South Tampa on Bayshore Blvd. We are a social club that focus on chef driven culinary experiences, fine dining food and property wide events. We strive to give our members the best dining experience possible from the beginning of the meal to the end.

We are a made from scratch kitchen focusing on seasonal ingredients and blending old and new techniques. We curate an Italian/French style menu with a few Asian influences. We allow the opportunity for creative influence on menus from all employees, as well as welcome a team forward mentality.

Here at The Stovall House we only succeed through our team members. We are a chef driven environment pushing our cooks to be the best version of themselves, as well as pushing their craft to new heights. We also encourage our cooks to help their teammates and have a “no man left behind” mentality.

Requirements for this job:

-Knife bag including knives, plating spoons, measuring spoons, etc.

-Previous experience at a fine dining restaurant, or previous line cook experience at a made from scratch kitchen

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment

-Excitement for culinary, flavors, and cooking

-Excels in a team environment and has willingness to help others.

-Basic knowledge of traditional culinary terms, and knife cuts

-Ability to work well under pressure

-Open availability including nights and weekends

General Physical Demands for the Position:

Line cooks will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, talk, walk, walk on uneven ground, carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
