THE STRAND HOUSE IS LOOKING FOR BUSSERS/ RUNNER TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness
- Work diligently in a timely manner
- Set and reset dining area
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Effective communication with all FOH staff
- Assist servers with table maintenance
- Cultivate positive working relationships with others
- Make sure server stations remains stocked accordingly
- Greet guests with a smile and thank them for coming upon exit
- Contribute to team effort. Being a team player above all is mandatory!
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to present food professionally/check orders for accuracy
- Deliver food to the proper table in a timely fashion and take additional orders when necessary
- Clear dirty plates and silverware
- Perform any task necessary to provide high quality customer experience, including explaining menu items to customers
- Support both servers and kitchen staff
- Greet guests with a smile and thank them for coming upon exit
- Contribute to team effort. Being a team player above all is mandatory!

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF…
- At least 1 year of expo, food runner and restaurant experience in a fast pace fine dining restaurant
- Must be able to expedite orders, attend to customers’ needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the desires of the customers at all times
- Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal
- Maintain a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills
- Adaptable and are able to thrive in a team environment
- Ability to shift gears quickly and multitask
- Handle pressure with ease
- Come to work in dress code and stay well groomed
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant with expo and food runner knowledge
- High school diploma
