Position Overview

This position is for a hybrid Systems Test Engineer in King of Prussia, PA. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition to growing your skills as a Systems Test Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in other disciplines at Stratagem that offer you opportunities to develop new skills in areas across the tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams
• Performing requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
• Developing test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events
• Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
• Supporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities
• Participating in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards
• Conducting testing events of software solutions and generating test result documentation
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, IT or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineering
• Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment
• Ability to develop requirements
• Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
• Ability to develop tracings between requirements, code, and verification
• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security , CISSP, or CASP)
• Experience with using automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification
• Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedures
• Experience in working with software-defined interfaces that use either XML or JSON to both document and implement
• Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
• Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams

• Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
• Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality
• Experience with Cameo modeling tools
