Part Time Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting prepared meals to various addresses throughout New Haven and Hartford Counties. while ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive a Chevy Express delivery van.

Clean driving record a must!

Hours:

Sunday 3pm-8pm

Monday 8am-2pm

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport prepared meals to designated locations.
• Load the van at the beginning of each shift with all orders/stops assigned to your designated route
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding delivery status and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure safe and careful handling of all customer orders

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or other commercial driving vehicles is essential.
• Experience in customer service roles is highly valued, as interaction with clients is a key component of this position.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
