• 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

Summary

• Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals.
• Understand circuit interrelationships and perform tasks like circuit analysis and signal flow tracing using advanced test instruments.
• Conduct aircraft bench and flight line testing, troubleshooting, and modifications following DOD, manufacturer, and company guidelines.
• Assemble, install, and test wire bundles for aircraft development and modification.
  
  

Required Skills

• 7 years of avionics experience.
• Proficient in electrical/electronic theory, avionics systems, and shop mathematics.
• Ability to work with schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings.
• Competency in aircraft systems and basic office software.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with EPAWSS modification, COMSEC, radar, or electronic warfare systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and electric elevating equipment.
• Lead and train junior employees and collaborate with management to optimize work processes.
• Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and perform duties of lower avionics classifications as needed.
• Diagnose assembly malfunctions and ensure quality compliance using precision instruments.
• Maintain required certifications and adhere to safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy and Lockout/Tagout systems.
• Work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and possible overtime, to support mission requirements.
