We at The Structures Company have an opportunity for you as a elearning Designer - Remote
- Design and develop engaging eLearning content that meets our compliance requirements and enables the business to achieve critical objectives
- Partner with subject matter experts to clearly define program purpose, learning outcomes, and lesson plans, and make the appropriate recommendations for sound instructional design.
- Manage the content creation process from start to finish, from discovery to publishing
- Develop and apply content and design standards to ensure a consistent learning experience
- Design supplemental training assets, as needed (such as infographics, faq’s, knowledge checks)
- Conduct learning needs analysis process and identify training requirements, synthesize discoveries, and present them effectively to stakeholders.
- Maintain continuous communication with SMEs to ensure the accuracy and relevance of course content.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions that convert complex information into learner-friendly formats while respecting the principles of adult learning.
- Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline & Rise) or Adobe Captivate
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field required.
- 5 years of experience in instructional design, particularly in creating engaging and interactive e-learning content.
- Proficiency with common authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Articulate RISE, Camtasia, Vyond), light amounts of graphic design (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud). Experience with SAP learning management software a plus.
- In depth understanding of instructional design principles, methods and measurement
- Demonstrated application of adult learning theories and models (ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick), process evaluation, assessment best practices
- Proven success in transforming raw content into informative, engaging, and compelling learning experiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of collaboration with end-to-end project ownership in a multi-stakeholder culture.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality with sensitive proprietary data.
- Able to manage and prioritize deliverables to multiple projects with the ability to flex and adapt to changes
- Able to define and document processes, including defining scope and timing estimates.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Instructional Design experience
- Ability to translate needs/processes into replicable training materials for delivery
- Ability to translate
- Strong video creation and editing skills, ideally including content creation experience with Articulate 360 and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Audio editing skills
- Experience planning, developing, and delivering a complete curriculum with measurable results
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Work Samples And/or Portfolio Required
