JOB TITLE : Aircraft Mechanic II - VC Electrical - Free Housing Support
LOCATION : San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE : $35-40 / hour

Summary :
Perform electrical modifications to wiring and system components.
Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and quality checks .
Work with hazardous energy and Lockout / Tagout systems .
Collaborate with other teams (General Mechanics, Structures, Avionics).
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain required certifications.
Required Skills :
4 years of on-aircraft electrical installation and modification experience.
Experience with routing and terminations , including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optics.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical orders .
Proficiency in connector terminations and wire harness assembly.
Desired Skills : A&P License
Experience with Modification Programs
Work Environment & Physical Requirements :
Ability to ascend / descend ladders , work in confined spaces , and lift up to 35 lbs .
Exposure to elevated platforms, noise, and hazardous materials .
Frequent standing, walking, and overhead reaching .
Ability to obtain customer approval (background check required).
