JOB TITLE : Aircraft Composite Repair Technician I
LOCATION : Savannah. GA
PAY RATE : $25.65 / hour

Job Details :
Contract Length : 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift : 1st

Summary :
Develop and apply skills in procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment relevant to specialization.
Repair mechanical / electrical assemblies by removing, replacing, or fabricating parts, following blueprints, manuals, and instructions.
Ensure all activities meet Repair Station requirements and parts / assemblies conform.
Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional / operational tests for return to service.
Inspect parts for conformity using blueprints and maintenance data.
Maintain paperwork in compliance with FAA Repair Station requirements.
Keep work area, test equipment, and peripherals clean and orderly.
Comply with company and environmental health and safety regulations.
Remove / install components, such as skins, APUs, and flight control parts.
Fabricate and repair sheetmetal, components, and wiring using appropriate methods (e.g., riveting, soldering, splicing).
Apply effective repair techniques, including troubleshooting and protective coatings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic understanding of shop math.
Sheetmetal (production / fabrication) and / or hydraulic overhaul experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical theory and wiring preferred.
