Job Details :
Contract Length : 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary :
Under minimal supervision, perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
Communicate effectively to understand and complete work assignments.
Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection to meet FAA and internal inspection / documentation requirements.
Complete CMP cards, work orders, and other documentation accurately and on time.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Properly identify, tag, and securely store customer property and components.
Operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs) following SOPs.
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
Protect customer property throughout all tasks.
Additional Functions :
Safely collect and dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids).
Maintain clean, organized workspaces using 6S and Lean Initiatives.
Apply continuous improvement practices to work processes.
Use and maintain tools and equipment, returning items to storage after use.
Adhere to safety rules, use protective gear, and address unsafe conditions promptly.
Utilize the material tracking system for parts demands, squawk tracking, and labor charges.
Support aircraft certification and testing, including flight tests when required.
Required Skills :
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years on mid / large-size aircraft.
Valid Driver's License required.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station and quality control manuals, process specifications, and company policies.
