CNC Machinist

JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist
LOCATION: Stratford, CT (Onsite)
PAY RATE: Up to $40/hour

Summary:

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).

• Machine complex parts to exact blueprint tolerances and specifications.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.

• Perform additional duties as required to meet manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

• MUST BE US PERSONS

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficient in programming, editing programs, setting up, and running CNC or conventional machines.

• Software Skills: Mastercam (1-2 years)

• Technical Skills: Radio Frequency (RF) (1-2 years)

Desired Skills:

• Certification from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

• Completion of a state-approved journeyman program or associate's degree in machine technology.

• Minimum of 1500 hours of training in machine technology.

• Experience editing and programming ProtoTRAK, Siemens, or Fanuc controls using Mastercam.

• 2-4 years of machining experience with CNC and/or conventional machines.
