Summary :
Support production in a handson role making prompt engineering decisions and collaborating closely with production personnel to bring designs to life.
Analyze and resolve production nonconformances conducting root cause analysis.
Apply design principles to assess and resolve product / process issues.
Research technical operational and quality issues to execute final engineering solutions.
Identify and communicate deviations impacting design intent and safety.
Develop and implement product / process improvements.
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews.
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develop customer correspondence for safe operation and maintenance.
Participate in onsite repair teams accident investigations and support teams.
Analyze damage repair and structural modifications to ensure safety.
Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength analysis.
Develop nondestructive test procedures tools and standards.
Fully onsite role in a factory environment with exposure to noise trip hazards chemicals and inprogress aircraft builds.
Involves a 9month Training Rotation Program which may include shift changes weekend work and travel.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (ABETaccredited or equivalent).
5 years of experience in structures systems design or production engineering.
5 years of prior Material Review Board (MRB) experience.
Must meet Export Control compliance as a U.S. Person (Citizen Permanent Resident Refugee or Asylee).
Shift & Travel :
Role covers multiple shifts including first second and third shift.
May require weekend work daily overtime and occasional travel.
