JOB TITLE : Senior Aircraft Mechanic
LOCATION : Moses Lake, WA
SALARY : $61,000 - $85,000 per year

Summary :
Performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
Develops mechanics and supports daily operations under minimal supervision.
Oversee and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per GTI RSM procedures.
Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance, including repair, modification, and replacement.
Interpret technical documents such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering orders to determine repair methods.
Rig and test flight control surfaces, landing gear systems, and engine systems.
Troubleshoot landing gear, flight control, engine, hydraulic, and air-conditioning systems.
Order parts and ensure material suitability.
Collaborate with Engineering as needed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Assist Leads with planning, production, and quality assurance on assigned projects.
Communicate progress and challenges with maintenance personnel and leadership.
Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) and mentorship to junior mechanics.
Maintain a clean work environment and clock accurately to jobs.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of commercial / military aircraft maintenance or MRO experience.
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
U.S. Person status may be required for compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally).
Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and the ability to work independently.
Experience operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, Hi-Reach).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions.
Availability to travel and work outside standard hours as required.
Must comply with DOT / FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
