JOB TITLE : SR Aircraft Technician
LOCATION : Savannah, GA
PAY RATE : $36.04 / hour

Job Details :
Contract Length : 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary :
Perform machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks
Conduct composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks
Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
Assemble, repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains
Solder electronic and avionics products
Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products
Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests
Perform basic organic chemical conversion, paint preparation, and apply coatings for corrosion protection and appearance
Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements
Required Skills :
High school diploma or GED
1 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to understand and interpret detailed written and verbal work instructions
Manufacturing or assembler experience
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and urgency in completing tasks
Desired Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Fabrication experience
Additional Notes :
Variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) depending on business needs
Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is required
3 weeks of training
Upcoming class start dates : as early as 3 / 3 (up to 9 participants), then every 2 weeks
Non-managerial, non-leadership role
