Contract Length : 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary :
Responsible for inspecting aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and verifying that all documentation is accurate and complete.
This role ensures that aircraft are returned to service in airworthy condition, while mentoring technicians and supporting ongoing inspection programs.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
6 years of aircraft / component inspection experience, including 3 years with large or mid-size aircraft.
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), FAA forms, and documentation.
Ability to read blueprints, maintenance manuals, and inspection documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong computer skills.
Minimum typing speed of 20 WPM.
Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Desired Skills
Experience with FAA certification approval processes.
Knowledge of FAA 8130-9 Statements of conformity.
Ability to mentor and train junior technicians.
Familiarity with Aircraft Log Books and maintenance programs.
Ability to conduct audits and research inspection statuses.
