Job Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Answering phones and greeting clients
· Receiving & Processing Inventory — Unpacking boxes checking-in and tagging products
· Merchandising/ stocking products — this includes: making beds, organizing accessory displays, restocking products on shelves
· Filing and maintaining organization of fabric swatches, and bedding sample library
· Dusting, straightening, and tidying showroom
· Assist sales associates and clients in showroom
Qualifications:
· Maintains a positive, can-do attitude
· Maintains professionalism in interactions and appearance
· Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working closely in assisting sales team members
· Ability to multi-task and handle consistent and diverse workflow
· Proficient with computers and email
· Possesses strong organizational skills
· Commitment to mastering the intricacies of product knowledge (get to know our lines and products to be able to answer questions)
· Self-motivated and self-regulated (ability to work autonomously and produce results)
· Detail oriented; strong communication skills; team player
· Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred
Job Requirements:
• In-person, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Oral and written Communication, Math Aptitude, Organizational skills, Reading and Time Management.
Physical Requirements:
Responsibilities require sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, grasping, reading, and listening. Must be able to lift to 20 pounds. A background in Interior Design is not a requirement, but curiosity and interest in interior design is a must! We want passionate and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in learning, and are excited to be immersed into this creative industry.
Salary : $19 - $21
