Medical Spa Weight Loss Medical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator
Position Details:
*Patient Coordinator (Sales & Customer Service)
*Manage daily flow of medical spa while ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction
*Encinitas, 92024
*Full Time: 5 days a week
*Position is hourly pay with commission, discounts on products and treatments, and other cash incentives
*Minimum 2 year commitment preferred
Duties:
Ensure appropriate balance of facility organization and customer service to create positive outcomes for spa and patients. Helping to create fun and creative monthly specials and sales with management.
Patients: Check patients in and out, maintain updated patient information, provide exemplary phone and person to person customer service, grow patient database, manage and build client relationships, provide patient education and treatment guidelines.
Office: Greet Patients, answer phones, handle cash drawer, manage Nurse Practitioner and RN schedules, prepare charts, support nurse staff, office inventory, filing, and prepare spreadsheets.
Sales: Initiate and confidently close sales, work with staff to ensure business profitability
Requirements:
*Compassionate human relation skills.
*Knowledgeable and passionate about medical aesthetic treatments such as laser hair removal, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, micro-needling, IPL services, and Body Contouring treatments.
*Comfortable with small business atmosphere but willing to grow and change with the business
*Sales experience, medical and skin care anatomy knowledge and interest, background in business development/social media marketing a plus but not required
*HIPAA knowledge
Personality: punctual, reliable, flexible, friendly, responsible, accurate, assertive, love to work with people, adaptive learner and have the patience to work with different personalities while staying calm and collected
Skills: attention to detail, problem solver, collaborator, strong communication skills, able to self-direct, take initiative, prioritize, work under pressure, understand and relate to the medical spa experience and expectations, optimal organizational skills, computer literate, Microsoft word experience
