About the Company-The Study Shack is a small, boutique-style tutoring company that works to support children of all ages in all subject matter. We work to pair students with tutors based on academic needs, personality, and learning style.
Job Title: Personal Administrative Assistant- The Study Shack works in a very "hands on" manner, wherein the Personal Administrative Assistant works closely with founder/owner, to create these student-tutor pairings, handle scheduling and supporting clients. The role also includes tasks involving on the owner's personal life.
Responsibilities
-Providing daily assistance and support to the business owner
-Coordinating with clients and tutors via email in a clear and professional manner
-Preparing monthly payroll for tutors as well as monthly invoicing for clients
-Maintaining record of changes for student scheduling and tutor availability
-Aiding business owner with technical challenges and questions
-Developing resource materials for tutors and clients as it relates to content
-Aiding in managing business owner's personal tasks
Qualifications:
-Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Keeps, Microsoft Office, and Numbers
-Ability to quickly learn online platforms, including operating payroll and scheduling services
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
-Attention to detail and problem solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University
-Humor and patience!
Must be available for IN-PERSON, in Greenwich Village - approximately 20 hrs a week, schedule varies
