About the Role:
We have an exciting internship opportunity to support our International Technology team based in Shelton, CT. The International Technology Intern will be responsible for enabling improved communication and business processes within the International Technology team. This role will be tasked with leveraging Subway’s asynchronous communication tools to improve the sharing of information across a team that is distributed across geographies and time zones. This individual will see this project through its full lifecycle including collecting requirements from stakeholders, researching potential solutions, and proposing and implementing the agreed upon solution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct stakeholder interviews and collect business requirements.
Research asynchronous communication tools and best practices.
Propose and implement solution.
Assist Sr. Software Engineer with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
Student must be enrolled at a four (4) year college or university for the duration of the internship.
Undergraduate students must have completed at least minimum of 75 credit hours (rising Senior).
Overall cumulative minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) required.
Academic Majors: Pursuing degree in Computer Science & Management Information Systems.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be willing to be on site in Shelton, CT during the internship.
Proficiency in Microsoft office skills required.
Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Wikis, etc.
Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to create presentations, present in front of groups.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
