Job Summary:

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand marketing strategies for all internal brands by collaborating closely with the external marketing agency, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels while aligning with the brands’ goals, overseeing the creative development process, managing the agency relationship, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize results; essentially acting as the client-side liaison between the brands and the agency to achieve successful marketing outcomes across all subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with external agency to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including but not limited to digital, paid social, etc., aligned with the companies’ objectives and target audiences.
  2. Work with external agency and freelancers to manage the creative development process, including conceptualization, design, and production of marketing materials such as advertisements, brochures, packaging, and promotional items.
  3. Oversee brands consistency across all communication channels, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards.
  4. Manage the company's organic social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment of brand messaging and marketing efforts.
  6. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  7. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  8. Work with the agency to measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives, using metrics such as engagement rates, reach, conversion rates, and customer feedback; proving data as requested.
  9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and marketing trends to continuously optimize strategies and tactics.
  10. Manage outside vendors including printers, videographers, photographers through the production of content and collateral.
  11. Develop and produce events for internal and external clients approximately once a month.
  12. Support public relations tactics through outreach to media outlets and development and distribution of content including but not limited to press releases, images and other content as requested.
  13. Support the publication of our in-house, annual magazine – Collaborative Living.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (4 years) in brand or integrated marketing, with a focus on creative development, branding, email marketing, and organic social media management.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a multi-brand or agency environment is a plus.


Supervisory Requirements: This position requires supervision of freelancers to complete and execute brand marketing strategies.

Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret documents, operating instructions, procedure manuals, correspondence, and technical information. Must be able to write reports, summaries, and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively to present information and respond to questions from managers, designers, vendors, clients, construction team, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Must be able to calculate percentages and pricing based on rates and quantities.

Reasoning Ability: Must be able to solve practical problems and find workable solutions, given the available products and methods.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is a plus. Minimum four years work experience in the marketing field.

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Driver’s license.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, Meta, emerging social media

Travel Requirements: Travel to job sites, other businesses, membership organization events, etc. is required. Travel for training and/or awards may be required on an as-needed basis.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, on an occasional basis. Must be able to sit or stand at a computer for long periods of time.

Vision: Must be able to see the computer screen, clearly see materials and details of work, and read Shipping/receiving delivery tickets and checklists.

Work Environment: Most of the work for this role is done in-person in the office. Any promotional or corporate event oversight and management is required to be in person at the event.
