The Summit YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA (SAY), are seeking caring, creative, responsible Afterschool staff members for the 2024-25 school year. The Afterschool Instructor is responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, well-rounded, safe environment for children to safely spend their after school time, while providing all children with a diverse and enriching program.

This position is part time with an opportunity to work up to 25 hours each week, with an opportunity to work more hours during Holiday breaks. Wages are competitive, starting $16.50/hour, but are based on experience. Benefit of employment at the Y includes a free YMCA membership and discounts on a family membership.

Requirements
- Must have experiences and/or interest in working with young children.
- Must possess planning and organizational skills,
- Must have strong leadership skills, flexibility and patience.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
