Ski Lift Operator (Fully Remote)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our Lift Operations team in the groundbreaking role of Ski Lift Operator (Fully Remote). Yes, that’s right - work remotely, from the comfort of your own home, while overseeing our chairlifts here at Snoqualmie Pass. Using cutting-edge imaginary technology and a Wi-Fi connection, you’ll help skiers get to the top of the mountain without ever leaving your couch.

Our ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and capable of yelling, “Have a great ride!” to their computer screen several times per hour. If you’ve ever dreamed of operating a ski lift while binge-watching your favorite shows, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Button Clicking: Monitor ski lift operations by remotely clicking the “Start,” “Stop,” and “Panic” buttons as needed.
• Virtual Guest Assistance: Shout helpful tips at your webcam, such as “Watch your tips!” or “Single rider on the left!” to ensure riders feel virtually supported.
• Online Observation: Keep a close eye on chairlift cameras via Zoom calls and Slack notifications.
• Snack Coordination: Manage your own snack breaks with minimal supervision!

What we are looking for:

• A stable Wi-Fi connection (dial-up not recommended).
• Ability to stay awake during slow weekday mornings.
• Exceptional multitasking skills.
