Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager to join our team and lead initiatives focused on sustainability, and community engagement. This role will be instrumental in helping the company advance its social and environmental initiatives and strengthen relationships with local communities. This work requires the capacity to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:


Sustainability & Environmental Impact
(65%)

  • Lead the development and execution of sustainability strategies that align with corporate values/core principles and industry best practices including road mapping and the development and maintenance of a long-term plan consistent with our Forever Project.
  • Drive initiatives, programs and projects to reduce the company’s environmental footprint through energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics (e.g., carbon emissions, water usage, waste diversion) and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure sustainable practices are integrated across all business functions.


Community Engagement & Social Impact
(20%)

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations, local stakeholders, and community leaders to maximize the company’s impact in the areas where we operate.
  • Develop and manage corporate giving programs, including volunteer initiatives, donations, and sponsorships, to drive positive social outcomes.
  • Design and implement programs that support local communities, including education, health, environmental stewardship, and workforce development.


Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
(15%)

  • Prepare and deliver reports on CSR initiatives to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead the creation of the company’s annual CSR report, highlighting sustainability achievements & community impact.
  • Serve as the point of contact for media inquiries related to CSR topics and ensure alignment with corporate messaging.

Qualifications:
What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, community relations
  • Strong understanding of environmental sustainability, social impact programs, and DEI principles.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful CSR strategies, including community-based initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $30 to $33/hr
Benefits include: health, dental, vision
Team member will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12 month period.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
