A Teacher Assistant supports the transdisciplinary team and assists with instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Assist in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates
- Implement established behavior plan(s)
- Ability to assume teacher responsibilities
- Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systems
- Assist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need
- Assist with routine classroom functions
- Assist with home-school communication
- Assist with all required paperwork to be completed
- Ability to travel to satellite locations upon request

**Position requires New York State Teaching Assistant Certificate or New York State Teaching Certificate. If do not have currently, must obtain within six (6) months of hire**
Rate of pay $21.15/hour
Salary : $21
