WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Summit Church is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Discipleship Director to lead and enhance our discipleship ministry. The ideal candidate will cultivate a community focused on spiritual growth, mentoring, and equipping church members to live out their faith in everyday life in an effort to help people Follow Jesus and Find Life.
GOALS AND OUTCOMES
- Discipleship Development : Design and implement a comprehensive discipleship strategy that fosters spiritual growth and maturity among all age groups.
- Curriculum Curation : Develop / curate content and oversee distribution to discipleship gatherings, small groups that align with church values and mission.
- Mentorship : Provide one-on-one mentoring and support for individuals seeking to deepen their faith and connect with the church.
- Volunteer Recruitment : Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders for various discipleship initiatives and small groups, fostering a culture of involvement and leadership development.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other church staff and leaders to integrate discipleship efforts across ministries.
- Assessment and Growth : Regularly assess the effectiveness of discipleship programs and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring alignment with church goals.
