Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Yoga Instructor and/or Yoga Sculpt instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practices, body mechanics, and anatomy, with the ability to design engaging and effective classes for our diverse clientele. As a Yoga Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting physical and mental well-being through various yoga styles and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group and individual yoga classes tailored to different skill levels and needs.
- Ability to use Bala weights in sculpt classes
- Demonstrate proper yoga poses and techniques while ensuring participants understand body mechanics.
- Provide personalized guidance on alignment, breathing techniques, and modifications for various poses.
- Design and implement comprehensive yoga programs that incorporate elements of anatomy knowledge and physiology.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to integrate yoga with other disciplines such as Pilates, dance, or cycling.
- Maintain a safe practice space by ensuring all equipment is clean and organized.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in yoga practices and health club offerings to enhance class experiences.
Requirements
- Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized institution.
- Ability to craft a playlist that matches the energy of the format taught
- Recognize the importance of breathwork and meditation
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology as they relate to yoga practice.
- Experience in personal training or related fitness disciplines is preferred.
- Ability to design effective yoga programs that cater to diverse populations.
- Familiarity with additional fitness modalities such as Pilates and Sculpt
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of health and wellness.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental Pay:
- Monthly bonus
