After-School / School-Age Teacher (Part-Time)

After-School Teacher | Mint Hill

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking After-School / School-Age Teachers for our NC 4-star rated school in Mint Hill. Positions are part-time. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you.

Pay rate of $16-18 per hour

Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's learning style.
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Foster positive relationships with children and families
• Share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BSAC or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with school-age children in a licensed center setting preferred.
