Daycare Cook & Driver | Hope Mills
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a part-time Daycare Cook/Driver for our preschool in Hope Mills. No nights or weekends, and a consistent work schedule. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you.
Pay range: $14-$15 per hour, based on experience.
Shift: 8:00-1:00 M-F

Responsibilities:
- Prepares and distributes meals/snacks for children and staff according to guidelines and provided menus
- Follows daily menu that incorporates USDA, licensing and/or health department regulations
- Must be willing to work in the classroom to cover breaks.
- Ensures safe food preparations and proper sanitation methods are used and maintains a safe kitchen/pantry area
- Maintains inventory of food and supplies
- Drive a 14-passenger mini bus to transport school age children
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be willing to assist in classrooms to cover staff breaks
- Previous experience transporting children in a commercial vehicle or working in licensed childcare or afterschool program preferred
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental & vision insurance
