Position: Scheduling Intern
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour
The Superior Group is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2025 term (May – August). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.
Under the guidance of our Scheduling team, you'll gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward, including contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus, Ohio, and will be a member of Project Controls/Scheduling team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules for electrical construction using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to understand project activities, dependencies, and critical paths
- Help analyze project progress and identify potential scheduling risks or delays
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, updates, and milestone tracking
- Participate in meetings and learn best practices in construction scheduling and timeline optimization
- Gaind hands-on experience with resource planning and real-world project coordination

Education
- Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
