I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivering all outgoing orders on an assigned route. This position ensures the safe and timely transportation of product from a designated delivery facility to clients while providing friendly customer service.
II. POSITION EXPECTATIONS
- Collects, checks, and loads all the day’s orders listed on daily delivery manifest
- Checks all paperwork against Jump Track manifest and determines most efficient route
- Checks and loads all outgoing bulk paper and water jugs
- Ensures load is secure and cannot shift or fall in transit
- Audits any outgoing white-glove orders and requests changes as necessary
- Marks any issues on the daily PDL and returns to Client Services for follow-up
- Delivers all outgoing product to clients and handles open pick-up requests
- Maximizes route and delivery efficiency while providing excellent customer service
- Uses Jump Track delivery software and tablet to collect proof of delivery information for all items delivered or picked-up
- Maintains compliance with all company guidelines and company established delivery standards
- Keeps Client Services and Operations Manager apprised of special situations that arise throughout the day
- Receives calls from Client Services and management and makes accommodations for special requests as necessary
- Processes all customer returns and undelivered items daily
- Palletizes all empty water jugs, used toner cartridges, and returned merchandise in accordance with local policies
- Reports any undelivered orders and pick-up issues to supervisor
- Keeps up with general paperwork requirements
- Maintains up-to-date vehicle checklist and reports concerns to supervisor
- Submit all water spiffs, productivity reports, etc. in a timely manner
- Maintains a safe and clean vehicle and working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Understands all company safety guidelines and protocols outlined in the Safety Handbook
- Follows up on vehicle maintenance and inspections according to federal, state, and company guidelines
- Monitors personal GEO tab statistics behavior and maintains safety compliance standards
- Fully understands all company safety protocols
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Meets company standards for attendance and punctuality
- Performs other duties as assigned
III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- CDL credentials if needed for the type of vehicles assigned to the route
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- 3 years’ prior delivery route experience in a customer-facing role preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of small-package delivery in a commercial environment, including procedures and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to use basic warehouse tools and equipment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to exchange information with others and understand and following directions
- Ability to be attentive to details
- Ability to work fully in person
- Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively within a team – willing to roll up your sleeves and help the team get work done

V. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to do the following:
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps
- Perform activities such as balance, bend/stoop, crouch, kneel, push/pull, reach, squat
- Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
- Adjust or move objects up to 2,000 lbs. in all directions using proper lifting technique and equipment
- Lift up to 100 lbs. unassisted
- Operate machinery, power tools, and standard warehouse material-handling equipment

VI. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works in a fast-paced, noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment, varying between internal warehouse environments, delivery vehicles, outdoors, and internal/external customer locations.

- Wage range: $19 - $22 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis
