POSITION SUMMARY
The Scheduler role assists with scheduling delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture within client facilities, including systems furniture, case goods, accessories, wall-hung units, etc. This position is responsible for timely scheduling of work, ensuring customer satisfaction and exercising a great attention to detail.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
- Coordinates communications among management, sales staff, client services team, and customers
- Analyzes projects and determines necessary labor hours, balancing timely project completion, customer satisfaction, and company budget
- Identifies and coordinates optimally efficient driving routes for projects
- Generates and disseminates project itineraries, including staffing schedules, plotted routes, and other project logistics
- Works irregular or extended hours as needed
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- 1 year of experience creating staffing schedules preferred Experience in workspace furniture and refurbishment industry a plus
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work irregular hours, extended shifts, or weekends as needed
- Knowledge of the general Howard County and Baltimore County areas
- Proficiency with ERPs and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of basic installation processes and logistics
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to attend accurately and precisely to details
- Proficiency with PCs and basic computer software, including MS Office Suite
- Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team; willingness to roll up sleeves and help the team
- Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily works in an indoor office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

- Wage range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis
