Our beverage scope encompasses a carefully selected wine program, a boundless cocktail bar as well as an understanding of coffee and tea service. We are seeking a detail-oriented, independent, and reliable Event Bar Lead to ensure our event bar is fully stocked, prepped, and ready for service as well as to execute bartending shifts for weddings, concerts, and other events.
Job Summary:
The Event Bar Lead will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the bar for special events. This role focuses on efficient prep work, organization, and cleanliness to ensure a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently within a limited timeframe.
Responsibilities:
- Batching Cocktails: Prepare large-batch cocktails according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Juicing: Freshly juice fruits and vegetables for cocktails, maintaining freshness and flavor.
- Stocking Beer and Wine: Ensure the bar is fully stocked, managing inventory and replenishing supplies as instructed.
- Cleaning & Sanitization: Thoroughly clean and sanitize the bar and prep areas after each shift.
- Product Rotation: Implement proper rotation procedures to minimize waste and maintain quality.
- Organization & Storage: Maintain an organized and efficient bar storage area for quick access to supplies.
- Event Readiness: Ensure the bar is fully prepared and ready before the event begins.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bar prep, bartending, or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (cases of beer/wine).
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be available to work event-based hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
