What are we looking for?
Our Associate Data Analysts are responsible for reviewing insurance policy documents for accuracy and completeness. An Associate will verify broker data; confirm the accuracy of calculated taxes and fees, and accurately record the coverage and industrial operation codes to report to the California Department of Insurance.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Compare source document data with database reports to detect errors and ensure completeness and conformity with established policies and procedures. Ensure any needed corrections or changes are accomplished.
- Work with Manager and Senior Analyst to assist brokers with electronic filing questions and surplus lines procedural process questions.
- Respond to broker questions. Monitor status of all open issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Respond to inquiries from brokers in a timely manner. Escalate matters to management as appropriate.
- Gain knowledge of all rules and practices regarding surplus lines law, regulations, and filing procedures.
- Achieve established quality and quantity objectives for this position.
- Build proficiency with all programs used in the SLA.
- Build a working knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures.
Education:
- Majoring in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
